Twas the night before school and all through the house
a creature was stirrring, but it wasn't a mouse.
It was the poor mama trying to end summer with a bang,
she'd seen something on a blog
about a "before school" dinner with the gang,
the other mother was NieNie so you can guess what hers was like
with ribbons and bows and decorated crowns,
I knew I couldn't even compete with that area of town,
But Coleman, my creative and little artist is he,
He made each child a crown that would help us all to be
happy before school.
I even brought up
the grape juice and little champaine cups.
So we did it Packer style,
small, and funny,
but in the end, it was as sweet as honey.
